During the season, Skidmore was supported by Katharine Butler, Yvonne Henderson, Milly Sidaway, Joe Chambers, Ellery Ford, Ed Keegan and Kevin Willemse.

Dorchester’s men’s A tennis team placed third in the men’s premier division, as did the men’s over 60 in their category.

In the Yeovil & District Tennis League, the Dorchester men won the third division and the mixed team finished second to Bridport in division four, while the Dorchester women finished third in division two.

Al Clark, Dorchester President, said: “Overall it has been a pleasant season after the cancellation of the 2020 season imposed by Covid-19, great to bring so many players back to the field and fantastic to have equally successful teams, especially having the best mixed team in the county. ”
