Goal ball, para-swimming, wheelchair basketball, para-athletics and table tennis will be the focus of the Philippine Sport Commission and Para-sport Games Parasport Coaching Webinar Series of the Philippines (PPG) which kicks off on Saturday.
The six-day training program, carried out in partnership with the Philippine Paralympic Committee (PPC), will have long-time coaches and expert practitioners who will impart basic training and experiences in the aforementioned para-sport disciplines.
“Following the success of the PSC Para-Athlete Sensitivity webinar, this training program will complement and strengthen the knowledge of our coaches and coaches in parasport,” said the PSC Para-Oversight Commissioner. Arnold Agustin athletes.
The wheelchair basketball coaching webinar begins October 9, followed by goalball on October 11, para-swimming on October 12, para-athletics on October 14, and para-table tennis on October 15.
PSC said it expects five hundred attendees for the webinar series.
“Attendees who are able to complete the webinar series will receive a certificate and shirts for the commemorative event,” said Mr. Agustin.
